Kenilworth Tuition Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We follow national guidance and local procedures to ensure all staff are trained, DBS-checked, and aware of their responsibilities. Any concerns are reported to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and we work closely with local authorities when necessary.

All tutors and staff undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS checks, reference verification, and safeguarding training. We ensure recruitment practices are fair, transparent, and prioritise student safety.

If a child is unexpectedly absent or goes missing during a session:

  • Immediate headcount and search of premises

  • Parents/guardians contacted

  • Emergency services notified if necessary

  • Incident recorded and reviewed to prevent recurrence

⏰ Attendance & Punctuality Policy

Regular attendance is essential for progress. We expect students to arrive on time and notify us of absences in advance. Repeated lateness or unexplained absences may result in review of tuition arrangements.

We promote respectful, focused learning. Disruptive behaviour is addressed calmly and consistently. Parents are informed of any concerns, and we work together to support positive change.

For remote sessions, we ensure:

📸 Photography & Media Consent Policy

We only use student images for promotional purposes with written parental consent. Photos are stored securely and never shared with third parties. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
